Reference List

[1] A review of the Franklin County Municipal Court's Annual Reports from 2003-2013 shows that an average of 19,320 evictions are filed in Franklin County annually. The most recent Ohio Courts Statistical Report of The Supreme Court of Ohio (2015) indicates Franklin County had the highest number of new eviction filings at 18,404. Hamilton County had 12,413, while Cleveland had 10,267.  

[2] The Franklin County Clerk of Courts also agreed to insert a postcard informing tenants about the availability of CMS’ free mediation services in every eviction summons issued (also a first).
